Djinni Capital: The Lost City

Overview of the Slot, “Lost City of the Djinn”

Thunderkick’s Lost City of the Djinn is a slot machine based on the stories from the 1,001 Nights. The combination of the game’s name and the developer’s penchant for monsters, the undead, and mythology evoked visions of vengeful ghosts prowling the streets of a Lovecraftian nightmare metropolis, toying with unwary explorers. The truth was very different from what we had anticipated. Large mystery symbols, free games, and Djinn spins are the main attractions in this seemingly welcoming slot machine game.

At first, I mistook Lost City of the Djinn for a more lighthearted adaptation of The Book of One Thousand and One Nights along the lines of Walt Disney’s Aladdin. The bright figures on the five-reel game panel were mostly to blame, while the enormous golden genie was responsible for the most suspenseful moment. Thunderkick has created a slot with a Middle Eastern flavor, complete with a whirling backdrop and images of pinks, purples, deserts, and domes. The end effect is a unique blend of comic and magical elements, and the graphics are striking in their individuality.

The cartoonish visuals of Lost City of the Djinn don’t accurately portray the serious story unfolding beneath them. Despite the game’s ‘Very High’ volatility option, Thunderkick has programmed the game’s math model to return 96.07% to players by default. The potential is obviously higher than what Thunderkick often goes for, but fans of the developer’s signature style who also value more winning potential should be intrigued. The Lost City may be searched on any device, and players can wager anywhere from 10 pence to £/€100 every round.

When at least three identical symbols appear on adjacent reels in this 5×3 slot machine game with 25 fixed paylines, a winning combination is created. Clubs, Spades, Diamonds, and Hearts are the low-paying card suits, paying out 3x to 3.5x the wager for a full house. The prizes range from 10x the bet to 30x the stake for winning lines of five symbols and include a pilot, scholar, explorer, and Djinn, respectively. A wild appears on any reel and stands in for any other symbol to help form winning combinations. If the wild contributes to a winning line on its own, it is valued the same as the Djinn.

Slot Features from the Lost Djinn City

Massive Mystery Symbols, free games, and Djinn Spins are all recycled elements in Lost City of the Djinn.

Huge Hidden Content

In the main game, the Massive Mystery symbols (which are 3×3 in size) can appear on reels 2, 3, and 4 at random. When the Huge Mystery sign appears, it can substitute for any other icon other than the scatter that triggers free games.

Bonus Turns

When 3, 4, or 5 of the free spin scatter symbols appear, the player receives 10, 15, or 20 bonus spins. Every free spin during this feature is guaranteed to produce a Massive Mystery symbol.

Djinni Perform a Spin-Off

Djinn Spins are activated when at least three cash scatters appear on the reels. The bonus round begins with 3 free spins with the scatters that activated it locked in place. During the bonus round, you will only be able to land cash scatter symbols, special feature symbols, or blank spaces; all other symbols will disappear. Each time a symbol falls, the free spins counter is reset to 3. When the timer reaches zero, the sum of all cash scatter values is applied. A single landing of a cash scatter can double the wager by anywhere from 1x to 50x. There are two unique icons: an Upgrade symbol that increases the value of all other bet multipliers on the reels, and a Copy symbol that sums up the multipliers from all other symbols.

Djinn Free Spins’ Pattern Collect function is very significant. Five spots are marked in blue borders during the bonus round. The sum of the symbols in the top five slots is the total for that row. All other symbols in the Pattern are wiped out to create room for new ones, and the total is then handed to the symbol in the Pattern’s center place. The reels are then updated with a whole new design.

Slot Results from the “Lost City of the Djinn”

Lost City of the Djinn is practically a clone of the Gothically vampiric slot, Baron Bloodmore, thus Thunderkick must have had a hit on their hands with that game. Non-thematic changes include a decrease in return to player (RTP), while players still receive a reasonable amount in Lost City of the Djinn (at least with the default number). If you enjoyed the fascinating adventures of Baron Bloodmore, you will like the sequel, Lost City of the Djinn, just as much. This time around, the outside is themed on mystical topics like Djinn and desert travel.

We’ll let you decide for yourself whether avoiding fangs burrowing into your neck is more appealing than discovering buried towns. Despite Thunderkick’s ability to reverse the perspective, the game’s strong aspects have stayed unchanged. Since the Huge Mystery icons are still associated with Wolf Gold, the normal game and free spins are both quite traditional. The desert’s blazing heat is unleashed during Djinn Spins. Normal symbols can generate an acceptable win, as is typical in these bonus rounds, but exceptional symbols can have a significant impact.

When compared to its major competitors, such as MT2 and company, Lost City falls short due to the simplicity and limited number of its unique symbols. But even the most fundamental strategies may provide positive results, and with the Pattern Collect option, Lost City of the Djinn can truly explode under the perfect conditions. The maximum win is capped at 25,000 times the initial wager, the same as Baron Bloodmore.

Considering how similar it is to other games, Lost City of the Djinn doesn’t live up to Thunderkick’s customary standards for originality. It came as a bit of a surprise to learn that the company hadn’t incorporated any innovative new features or plot twists. Despite its uninspired gameplay, Lost City of the Djinn is a well-crafted free spin/respin machine with much of promise for fans of the genre.
